We're excited to announce the release of a powerful new feature in Eskuad: Map Forms! This initial release marks the beginning of an ongoing series of improvements designed to give you precise location data and seamless integration of maps into your forms.
Map Forms allow you to create forms as map-based, enabling teams to capture location-specific data directly in the field. This powerful new tool combines the flexibility and detail of standard Eskuad forms with intuitive geospatial capabilities.
Create a Map Form:
Designate any form as a "Map Form" directly from the web platform.
Include all your familiar Eskuad field types—text, checklists, photos, signatures, and more.
When users access a Map Form on the mobile app, they can easily toggle between "Form View" and "Map View."
In "Form View," users fill out forms as usual. However, there's a key difference—Eskuad automatically captures and records the precise location of each field as it’s completed.
Switch to "Map View" at any point to visualize collected data. Each entry appears as a pin on the map, clearly marking where each field was filled out. Simply tap on pins to review specific information captured at that location
After submission, access completed Map Forms on the Eskuad web platform.
Clearly visualize and review the geographical data captured from the field, enhancing oversight and decision-making.
This is just the beginning! Starting in early May, we’ll be rolling out regular updates and enhancements based on your input. Your feedback is crucial for shaping the future of Map Forms and ensuring it meets your operational needs.
We invite you to explore the new Map Forms feature. Experiment, share your experiences, and let us know how we can make it even better for your team. Your insights will directly influence future updates!
